Gewa Maestro Violin Case: Traditional Look. Modern Protection.
The Gewa Maestro violin case is crafted for musicians who appreciate tradition but want modern protection.
This case may look like a standard wooden case, but it is in fact made of more modern (and more protective) materials.

Thermo-shell Technology
Many cases with this look typically feature wooden shells that, while providing enough protection, can be quite heavy to carry. Which is why Gewa made this case with thermoplastic shells.
Thermoplastic is a light and durable material commonly used in several industries including mechanical and industrial. It is also impact and temperature-resistant, making it an ideal material to protect your precious violin.
Thermoplastic is also a temperature-resistant material, safeguarding your violin against inclement weather.

A Really Unique Feature

Unlike many cases, this case doesn’t have a neck strap to secure your instrument. It has a cushion on top that gently presses on the neck of the violin when the case is closed.
This is a clever design because it makes it very easy to take out your violin when you open the case. No need to hassle over untying and leather knots. And it also won’t scratch against the strings (like velcro straps would).
Secure Suspension Padding
The case features a suspension system that essentially “suspends” the instrument. Paddings are strategically placed to absorb shocks. This means if you drop the case, the paddings absorb the impact, not your violin.

Spacious Interior

This case has a spacious interior to accommodate all kinds of essentials.
At the bottom of the violin is a spacious accessories compartment for your pencils, cleaners, polishes, and more. It is even spacious enough to accommodate larger shoulder rests like a Bon Musica.
There are also two small compartments to fit your smaller accessories, like rosin and mutes.
Comfortable Padded Backpack Straps and Security Rings
This case comes with two straps that are very comfortable on the shoulders.
To wear it like a backpack, attach the straps to the D-rings on the bottom and extend it to the side, forming an upside-down V-shape.
There are also 4 security rings that serve as backup protection. They secure the straps to the D-rings. In the highly unlikely event that a clip breaks, the security ring will ensure the case doesn’t drop to the ground.
