New Bam Hightech Oblong Violin Case

Hightech is Bam’s patented protection technology, crafted from three materials in a triple-ply structure: ABS, injected solid polyurethane foam, and a third thermoplastic layer.

This structure also provides excellent insulation, making the case more temperature-resistant than carbon fiber cases.

This new version features an integrated cushioned music pouch on the back, perfect for holding your sheet music or iPad.

The pouch is also padded with a breathable mesh material for added comfort. So when you carry the case on your back, you won’t have the hardshell against your back.

This case includes two padded neoprene backpack straps with security hooks for added security.

One of the updates with this newer version is the 4 D-rings on the back of the case. Whereas the original Hightech oblong case only has 3 D-rings.

With 3 D-rings, you would attach both straps in the shape of an upside-down V. However, this may be uncomfortable for some musicians, because you have the D-rings and clips of both straps converging right behind your neck.

With 4 D-rings, there’s enough space between the straps, so they don’t converge behind your neck. This is also a better design for musicians with wider shoulders.

Unlike traditional cases with zippers and key locks, these combination locks offer better security and long-term reliability. Plus, you won’t need to worry about losing a key—just remember the combination.

This case features a spacious interior with 4 bow holders, a string tube, and a large removable accessories pouch.

There’s also a velcro strap beneath the violin’s neck to secure a shoulder rest. It can actually fit the largest shoulder rests, such as a Bon Musica.

Suspension paddings are strategically placed along the neck and lower bout of the violin. This means if you drop the case, the paddings absorb the impact, not your violin.

With a dedicated space for your shoulder rest, the accessory pouch offers plenty of room for essentials like rosin, cleaning cloths, pencils, polishes, and cleaners.

Because the pouch is removable, you can easily take your essentials to your music stand with you without carrying the entire case.
